Artist  Statement
I am lost in this world and my photography often reflects feelings of loneliness and isolation. Each image of mine represents this with little stills of emotion that I feel at the time I press the shutter button. My images are low key and I like to speak with a simple voice through my photography. My tools of expression are black and white street photography and the use of shadow and light. There is nothing deliberate about my photography. Instead I try to keep my eyes and heart open to my surroundings. To me a photograph does not represent anything real and it will never be truly objective. In realization of this I hope that my photography is accepted as little entries in a personal diary rather than as a projection of the truth. If my photos have a mission, it is to share my visions of everyday life with the viewer and thereby highlighting that beauty and emotion is everywhere if we care to see and feel.
