Artist  Statement
My photography is often a collision between the everyday reality of the streets of Melbourne, and the various themes that I am working through at the time of the image creation. Much of my conceptual work is influenced by the anxieties that underpin everyday suburban life. Whether I’m dealing with fallen angels, TV evangelists, or people waiting for their bus, there is often humour threaded into the narratives I create. I’m a storyteller; I leave it up to the viewer to decide if they want to believe.
