Artist Statement

I am a mother and artist living in the San Francisco Bay area. I see beauty in the dark, the decaying and broken.  I am an avid people-watcher and studier of human behavior. I especially love portraits and believe that if we look closely we can see inside a person..  emotion, untold secrets, and often learn something about ourselves.  I am very grateful for the wonderful sense of community that mobile photography has brought to my life … oh, and I don’t sleep much.. at all.. really ever.
