Artist  Statement
My iPhoneography obsession began three years ago when I met iPhone and the Hipstamatic camera app.  I now shoot almost exclusively with Hipstamatic, and prefer pairing lenses with film over post-processing effects; I like the gamble.  Mobile photography has afforded me the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and connect in new ways with so many talented individuals.  I feel very fortunate.

For me, photography is a vehicle to find peace.  I believe that serenity comes through in the images I make. Whether I’m walking to work on a foggy morning, or passing by a familiar place I’ve seen hundreds of times; in that particular moment, I try to see its potential to be something extraordinary.

I’m very proud to be part of this Juxt community, and grateful for the opportunity to share my creative passions, personal expressions and occasional musings.  Over the past few years my images have been exhibited and sold to benefit charities locally and internationally, featured in LysFoto Magazine, EyeEm Blog, iPhoneogenic.com and iPhoneography.com’s “Through The Lens of an iPhone.”   I’m also a featured artist at Thumbtiles; a Kickstarter project that was funded in 2012.
