SHARED PASSIONS / Why Is It So Important We All Meet!

During the weekend of June 9/10 i gathered The Minimals™ for a meeting here in the Town where i live in #Italy to draw some lines in our future projects, to attend our first official Gallery #Arteinsieme, and to live together two days of Friendship and shared passions.
As i imagined many times before, this kind of reunions can only end up in two directions: a sense of unbelonging or a strong injection of vitality and creativity.
The second prevailed. Big time.
The contagious enthusiasm took us in a non stop weekend of #mobilephotography: we tried and experimented different things and styles, from the most comfortable  #streetphotography to #portraitsphotography, from #architecturalphotography to #people, #landscape and a touch of #hipstamatic fun too…

What remains is the firm belief that despite the natural daily routines and even when you got so used in doing your photo juice alone, the feeling of being together with someone who is a lot similar and like-minded really makes all the difference in the world.

I learnt, observed and tested. I laughed, traveled and shared. In good company. I promised myself i need to do this more and more.

This is our version of THE HAKA dance.

Durante il fine settimana del 9 giugno / 10 ho voluto radunare i fidati The Minimals™ per un incontro nella città dove vivo in Italia, occasione buona per tracciare alcune linee nei nostri progetti futuri, per partecipare alla nostra prima galleria ufficiale di Arteinsieme, e per vivere e condividere insieme due giorni di amicizia e di passioni comuni.
Come ho immaginato molte volte in precedenza, questo tipo di riunioni può finire solo in due direzioni: o un senso di disagio o una forte iniezione di vitalità e creatività.
La seconda ha prevalso. Inequivocabilmente!
L’entusiasmo contagioso ci ha guidato in un fine settimana non stop di # mobilephotography: abbiamo provato e sperimentato cose e stili diversi, dalla più usuale streetphotography alla portraitsphotography, dalla architecturalphotography fino alle persone, ai paesaggi e addirittura un tocco di divertimento pure #hipstamatic…

Ciò che rimane ora più che mai è la ferma convinzione che, nonostante le naturali routine quotidiane che la vita spesso ci impone, e anche quando si è così abituati (come nel mio caso) a fare le proprie puntate di mobilephotography da solo, la sensazione di stare insieme con qualcuno che è molto simile e con cui tutto è in comune, fa davvero tutta la differenza del mondo.

Ho imparato, ho osservato e ho testato. Ho riso, ho viaggiato e ho condiviso. In buona compagnia. E mi son ripromesso di farlo sempre di più. Io e gli Amici, quelli veri.
