We Are Juxt X DJ D::Double Mixtape

We Are Juxt  is proud to present DJ D::Double and an Exclusive Mixtape

“Sock Game, Son!”

For all you mobile shooters out there that want to have some music in your ears when you capture those awesome photographs, this is for you!

Brad’s Introduction

I have known Double for many, many years.  He is a very close homie/brother to me.  I get the opportunity to share story, laughs, tears, laughs, anger, laughs, laughs, laughs…I think you get the point.  Before I gets to talking about how great a musician/ DJ he is let me tell you more about Double as my friend.

I swear we were seperated at birth.  It was during the time I was still active with an arts collective from Seattle.  We had the opportunity to meet with many folks across the nation.  Going on tour on a low budget, a lot of the time we had to count on the locals of the city we were going to give shelter.  We had a natural bond with the crew from Chicago.  I mean, it was like we had been organizing and performing and all that knowing that we would end up meeting one day. My crew got to meet up with the Chicago crew before I had a chance to.  When I did get a chance to meet them, I swear not even 5 minutes had gone by and everyone from Chicago was like, “you and Double are gonna hit it off just right.”

“Bak-lava”

Well needless to say, 13 years or so later, we are best of friends.

Since becoming brothers, Doubles had seen me go through all my phases of passion.  He pretty much knows where I stand with my beliefs and knew that something like mobile photography would definitely catch my attention.  He wasn’t into it and was actually an iPhone hater. At the least he’s moved on from his Blackberry and to an Android.  Now you can see his photos of his styles, music, and cities he visits on Instagram.  I mean really it was his last trip here to Seattle 2 weeks or so ago, where he first joined.

“Bro, I’ll join but I am not gonna get addicted.”

Um, let’s just say he’s already attached to his smartphone like it was one of his fingers.  Adding IG, didn’t help him at all.  Matter of fact it was the weekend that he joined when IG’s server on the East Coast got hit by lightning and was out for 24-36 hours.  He looked like he was on crack.  Twitching and shit all over.  Talking about, “dang whats up with IG, is yours working yet,” like every hour.  He’s addicted.

So first assignment for you all, check him out on IG under @djddouble.

“Product Placement”

SECONDLY and FINALLY check out his EXCLUSIVE mix for We Are Juxt.  I mean really, you can only get it here off our site and for a limited time.  You can always stream but to bump it in your ride, or in the backyard while your bbq’ing, or in your headset when you on the elliptical…you’re going to have to download it.

Before I give you the link, let me publicly say this to DJ DDouble, I love you brother!

Now get this mixtape.

**All photos taken with a camera phone! You know I had to make sure there was a tie in with the focus of this site =)**
