Keepsy: The App

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in beta testing the new Keepsy App and I have to say that from the outset, I was excited! I really like the Keepsy brand and was keen to see what they would do with an app.

Firstly, lets get the money side out of the way. The app is absolutely…..FREE! This is always a good deciding factor for me when it comes to downloading a new app.

Once you have downloaded the app and  opened it for the first time, it automatically loads all the photos from your camera roll into neat photo sets according to location and date. I found this really helpful. Mostly because I have long since forgotten when or where most of my photos were taken and in about two minutes, the app has auto organised me.

As well as organising your existing photos into sets, you can also create new sets that you are able to share with your friends. To share, you’ll need to create an account on the app, either by using an email address or by signing up through your Facebook page. Then you can go ahead and share your sets with friends via email, text message, Facebook, Twitter or Path.

Adding photos to the app can be done directly from your camera roll,  via your Instagram feed or by taking a photo using the camera function.  If you take a photo with the app, you also get the option to use the built in filters which are a fun addition. You can choose to have your sets locked so no one can add to them or if you want to share, you can let your friends join in too. Here is a Classic Car set I created as an example. (feel free to add any classic car photos you may have to it also)

The part I love the most is the ability to print directly from the app. Once you have selected the photos you want printed in your book, you can arrange them in any order you like until you are 100% happy with the finished product.   I found it easy, user friendly and having already received a pocket photo book via the app, I can also say its great quality too. I think there is nothing better than seeing my photos in print and this is what I can get with Keepsy!

The Pocket book price starts at $14.95 (USD) and international Shipping can take up to ten business days but my book arrived within 5 days. A speedy service indeed.

Overall, the Keepsy app is a fun way to share and print your photos and

I highly recommend it!
