Hello everyones!  BP here!

I have the pleasure of knowing quite a few DJs both locally in the Seattle area and around the United States.  I am blessed to have so many of these artists befriend me and not only play great music, but really understand the art of being a DJ. There is definitely an art to playing music.  One of the DJs here in Seattle who has much respect for his selections and his community involvement is my good friend, DJ Daps1.

We’ve known each other for quite some time and despite any trials and tribulations, have remained kindred spirits of sorts.  Our lives have had its parallels and to this day, I have to say that seeing him as a father and husband, really makes me a proud friend.  One who has the utmost respect for him and although I may not tell him all the time I see him, I do think he’s one of the most genuine and honest men in the world!

Well recently, I asked him to see if he would share this holidays mix he had done a few years back.  It’s one of the mixtapes that I play every year around this time.  I felt that it’s a great way to share with all of you shooters out there who not only listen to music to when you shoot, but have your music playlists in your ear whenever you get the chance.

Once he said yes, he’d be down to share, I actually went out and planned my shoots and shots.  I wanted to capture the area in its holiday glory. The pretty and the not so pretty.

You see Daps is one guy you will meet who probably has the most, and I mean the MOST, pride in the city of Seattle.  I wanted to compliment his musical gift with some visuals that I saw when listening to his mixtape.
